• The Ascendant or Rising Sign points to the primary motivation that drives the Soul.
• The ruler of the Ascendant guides the life to it’s destination.
• If the planetary ruler of the Ascendant is conjunct another planet or asteroid, a fixed star, or other personal point it will add to it’s meaning/effect as ‘guide’.
• Planets within one degree declination of the Ascendant will add to it’s meaning.
