Goseck Ring

The Goseck Ring (dubbed Germany’s Stonehenge) is one of the best preserved and extensively investigated of the many similar structures built around the same time (4900BC) in GERMANY, AUSTRIA, the CZECH REPUBLIC,SLOVENIA and CROATIA. (Approximately 120-150 Neolithic earthworks (Kreisgrabenlagen or ’roundel’s) in CENTRAL EUROPE have been found.)

The Nebra Sky Disc

 

The Nebra Sky Disk (1600 BC) found in Nebra, GERMANY (just 15 miles away from Goseck Circle) is considered to be the oldest portable representation of the cosmos found to date (depicts a crescent moon, the full moon & the Pleiades constellation.)
