Venus in the Natal Chart of Marie Curie – Celestial Chimes Astrology

Venus in the Natal Chart of Marie Curie

Marie Curie (Venus)

Venus represents how we relate to others and also what we love. It shows how we express affection and feel appreciated.

Venus in Scorpio is in ‘detriment’. The sign Scorpio emphasizes intensity and the unearthing of all that is hidden whereas Venus normally emphasizes harmony. Venus in Scorpio shows a need for intense connection with others while having a difficulty with trust.

Having Venus within the stellium of planets conjunct her MC and Sun shows that Marie Curie loved her work and her relationships were intricately involved with her work and public status.  With Venus ‘besieged’ in Marie Curie’s chart (a malefic on either side), denial, restriction, pain, frustration and loss were tragically woven into her relationships. On the positive side the thread of Saturn also brought security , expertise and accomplishment.   Mars in its own sign of Scorpio delivered one of the most enduring and passionate fibers of the zodiac.

With Venus ruling the fifth house of children and the 10th house of honors and reputation these things also came about through the action of the 11th house stellium of planets and were thus tied to the life purpose as well .
