The Fourth (4th) House
Â
House of HOME
FOURTH HOUSE SPECIFICS:
Home, Family, Parents, Ancestors, Land.
“The home. One’s most personal and intimate life. One’s family, both childhood and adult, one’s mother or father, one’s forebears, one’s native land, one’s past and relationship to tradition. Real estate, lands. The end of life.
A 'Me-In-Here'
“The sense of a ‘me-in-here‘ provided by the IC and 4th house lends an inner unity to all thoughts, feelings, perceptions and actions. In the same way that we are biologically self- maintaining and self-regulating, the IC and 4th house serve to maintain the individual characteristics of the self in a stable form.”
End of Life
“The fourth is commonly associated with old age, the end of life, death, funerals and things after death. In my personal research I was surprised by how often the fourth place was activated in years in which the native either died or had to deal with issues related to mortality. “
