ELEVENTH HOUSE SPECIFICS
Friendships, Societies, Organizations & Social Groupings
“Like the fifth, the eleventh is a highly self-expressive house, but the expression is socialized; that is, it occurs in a social context, and the self-expression is modified by the demands of relating to others. The Eleventh house does not usually demand that one repress one’s identity; rather, the identity is integrated with, and often expressed as part of, a group identity. The eleventh can be thought of as one-to-many relationships as opposed to the seventh house that symbolized one-to-one relationships.
In addition to friendships, the eleventh house signifies relationships such as membership in societies, organizations, and other social groupings. The thing to remember is that the eleventh house describes one’s ability to get along in any situation in which one has to relate to severaly people at once and in which one has to modify one’s behavior in order to get along. At the same time, the friends or group must in return support the individual.”
'To go beyond our eg0-identity and become something greater than what we already are'
“At its deepest level, the 11th house (associated with the sign of Aquarius and co-ruled by Saturn and Uranus) represents the attempt to go beyond our ego-identity and become something greater than what we already are. The main way of achieving this is to identify with something larger than the self- such as a circle of friends, a group, a belief system or an ideology.
Friendship clearly fits into the 11th house ideal of becoming greater than what we already are. People are linked together through friendship, personal boundaries are expanded, and both the needs and resources of others become interwoven with out own. We introduce our friends to new ideas and interests and, likewise, we are broadened by what they have to share.”

'Friendship, Alliances, Patronage, Acquisition,Gifts, Honors, Dignity and Wealth'
“The eleventh place becomes the primary one associated with the topic of friendship, and this is often extended to other related notions such as alliances, patronage, and becoming friends with powerful people.Â
As a post-ascension that is rising up to or carrying planets towards the Midheaven, the eleventh is commonly associated with hopes, desires, and expectations, It is essentially that which the native aspires towards. Antiochus says that it signifies “the increase of things in the future.” In the delineation material it is commonly invoked as a place related to acquisition, gifts, honors, dignity and wealth.”
